WHAT IS A MAILING LIST?
A mailing list is possibly the easiest and most effective way of online-communication. By sending an e-mail to the mailing list's address, the email reaches everyone subscribed to the list. If you have asked a question in your message, you are almost certain to get a response because of the volume of people that have received it, and willing to reply as soon as possible. It is almost like a newsgroup but the messages go directly to your mailbox, which is rather convenient.

 

 

WHAT IS ZEAL?
Zeal is a blur mailing list where fans around the world chat, gossip and acquire a hell of a lot more info than anywhere else. People on the list are able to exchange their thoughts, knowledge, questions and news of what's going on in blur world. It is also a great chance to make friends and acquaintances with people that have the same particular interest. Zeal has proved to be most effective over the years and continues to increase in size, popularity and reliability in all areas.

 

 

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE TO ZEAL?
To subscribe to zeal send a completely blank email to:

zeal-subscribe@blur.org.uk
Make sure you send this from the email address to which you would like to be subscribed. If you want to be subscribed to say a hotmail address you will have to send a blank email to this address from your hotmail account..

 

 

WHAT NEXT?
After you have sent a blank email to zeal-subscribe@blur.org.uk you will receive an email immediately with the subject: 'confirm
subscribe to zeal@blur.org.uk'

 

To confirm your subscription request you MUST reply to this
message. Again with a completely blank email.

 

After you have sent your confirmation email you will receive
your final message with the subject:

'WELCOME to zeal@blur.org.uk'

Make sure you keep this email as there is a lot of important
information on it.

You are now subscribed to zeal and will start to receive mail
from other subscribers.

 

HOW DO I RECOGNISE ZEAL MAIL?

All messages from zeal have the infamous [z] before the subject of the email. This is an automatic process, so you will not have to put it in yourself

 

 

HOW DO I POST TO ZEAL?

Just send your emails to zeal@blur.org.uk

 

 

HOW DO I UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ZEAL?
Send a blank email to zeal-unsubscribe@blur.org.uk from the address to which you are subscribed. You will then receive an email with the subject 'confirm unsubscribe zeal@blur.org.uk'

 

Reply to that and you will receive your final email with the subject 'GOODBYE from zeal@blur.org.uk'

 

 

I CAN'T SEND BLANK EMAILS
luckily, this shouldn't make any difference.
