I question my own sanity when I look at this board now! It's as though it's a graveyard.

Is it really possible for Coping to have become this fucked? If you look around at other message boards online, dedicated to bands far less popular than Blur, the places are usually thriving. By comparison, Coping has degenerated into a waste of webspace. It's hard to believe how dead it's become, yet it's understandable. Nobody who came across Coping for the first time could be arsed writing or contributing anything new here since the message board has become 99% boring, abusive, unfunny posts made by a single repetitious fucking twat flogging the same tedious "joke" under different names. I don't mean to sound pious. I'm not prejudiced against Coping characters: some of my best friends have been Coping characters! (I've been the odd character here and in BC too.) But SARKI/BIG BRETT/TW etc ... from some of your posts it's clear you're intelligent. I'm sure you have something worth saying, certainly something more interesting than bollocking on about being superior to the rest of humanity. That isn't even insulting, it's just a big, fat yawn. If you would drop the character or even just modify it a little, contribute something beyond slagging people you've never met from behind the safety of your PC, ranting about being "KING" (of an Internet message board? yeah what a coup!) people might even get talking here again and the site might rise like Lazarus, back from the dead.
(I notice SARKI/BRETT/TW reckoned he was leaving a few days ago, but he clearly hasn't.)

I really don't know why this board never gets wiped but I'm glad it doesn't because it's legendary and home to my many charactors which I have developed from my schitzophrenic insanity *grin*

*sigh*, these past few weeks (or has it been months already?) I've done the same as those above have professed. But I do that with the internet in general - I'll check my e-mail every day, but won't make time to write back until days, sometimes weeks (*eep*, months) later, as well as if I happen across an interesting article I'll send it to a "favourites" folder to read later (again, this takes a while to get back to...). So no worries, and I just want to add in the word "loverful" 'cos it seems great.

And about monarchies, we're all born to something we didn't ask for. You can make it terrible, or you can try and be beautiful about it. Try so hard it's a pain, and sometimes you need to wonder if it's really worth all that part of yourself that you put into it. Of course, when I say things like this I'm romanticizing, because I haven't got a clue. But maybe I want to live in a world of fantasy. What would you create of it?
