Whens it coming out? , What will it be like? , Will it be better than 13 or similar to the Parklife and The Great Escape album? What will the new album be called? These are just some of the questions swarming around in my head right now !!!!!
By ANGIE on Saturday, January 5, 2002 - 03:15 pm: |
I dont know Tracey but I can tell it's gonna be a crazy, happy album with lots of gr8 songs and stuff on it cuz thats what Damon does best!! This sounds mad,I know, but I had a dream it was going to be called "Dancing in your Pants"! LOL how cool would that be,hey?

Release date 2007 the blur mixes, food got fed up with waiting around for damon to end his fascination with monkeys after he made his 20th album in 6 years, and so decided to let dave remix some of blurs b-sides as he had nothing else to do while waiting for the mars landing.
The acid house mix of young and lovely is the album definer and stands clear of other songs like the jazz version of parklife and the tecno version of ernold same.

ha ha ha - and it's almost believable. Unlike Angie.

Good question, Tracey. Wish Damon would put all that Godzilla flordy blordy on hold and get on with Blur's new album. But if they go rap, I'm gettin' outta here...
By Lucky on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 11:45 am: |
Okay... I meant Gorillaz... yes...
By tracey on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 05:34 pm: |
Gorillaz are good , so stop moaning about it , blur will be around for a long time yet.
By Lucky on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 05:36 pm: |
Not as good as Blur!!
By tracey on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 05:40 pm: |
Blur will allways be better than Gorillaz ... but stop dissing Damon's creative genious.
By Lucky on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 05:44 pm: |
Oh I'm not, I actually like Gorillaz.
By tracey on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 05:50 pm: |
Who's everyone fave blur member .. btw ?
By Prissy on Sunday, January 6, 2002 - 10:40 pm: |
Is it true it's going to be called "Heart of Stone"?
By Song_1 on Monday, January 7, 2002 - 06:18 am: |
blurs next album will be a myth just somethig that is never gonna happen, just like westlife are never going to make a song that you can actually remember what its called or even be any good.
on your own : classical version featuring guest vocals by victoria beckham and even david has a line in it
By Luckovic on Monday, January 7, 2002 - 02:54 pm: |
Hahahaha!!
That was tooooo funny. Favourite Blur member? Hmm... Graham.
By tracey on Monday, January 7, 2002 - 04:02 pm: |
Blur are releasing a new album so you better belive it!!! ....I like all memebers , but my fave is Alex .
By indigo on Monday, January 7, 2002 - 04:32 pm: |
ah, i'll stick up for Dave, the forgotton Blurite. Although my fave used to be Damon, then was Alex, and is now Graham.

Gorillaz are great fun, I'm no hiphop phobic, but I like guitars and I hope there'll be enough of them on the new record. Gimme enough Graham and it's awwwwlrighty by me. Gimme Graham and I'll .....probably blush and run and hide.

How many graham-types in britain would there really be?> angst ridden, introverted men.

Quite a few in the public service, I'm led to believe.

*Love....is such an empty word*
it really is...one moment they say they love you and the second you're alone again
By Chris on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 - 10:29 am: |
Oi, I work in the public service and there's nothing angst-ridden or introverted about me! Wish there WERE more Graham-esque people working with me, we'd have some fantastic singalongs.
By Luckovic on Thursday, January 10, 2002 - 06:07 am: |
Haha. An introvert? I thought Graham was more an extrovert. Maybe he's... a leedle beet of thees and a leedle beet of that.

Graham Coxon , keeps himself to himself , and when hes on stage he stays in his own joyfull world.... he's an amazing guitarist you won't find another one like Graham. Funny thing to say but who else here likes his sense of humour , some might say its strange ..but I don't think so!! And does he hate any of the other Blur members ? If he does I think he would say either Damon or Alex hmmmm dunno why they seem the obvious choices that he'd pick!!!

*Complacent ROFL* I met Graham when I was all of 15. After I'd finished flattering his adorable Coxy sox off, what did I do but go on to flatter them even more. In as predictable a way as possible, ie : "Oh, look, I know how many people must have said this to you, blah blah, but your concert was the best I've ever been to, blah blah. Sorry if that sounds sycophantic!"
Graham replied (look, just bear with me while I reminisce here): "You little sycophant, you!" (Oh, but he said it in a kindly, good natured way. Simply MUST add that.) On I blithered: "I hope you can take this as an objective, non~corny observation if I say that both my brother and I agreed that you have the best stage presence and came across as the most charismatic member of Blur!" That shut him up like a clam, and he seemed taken aback.
"Well, Graham!" I continued on nervously: "You really played well and it was just SUCH an incredible concert!!111" (If those !!!11 could be adjectives, you'd have a picture of the ebullient verbal intonation.)
What impressed me the most was GC seemed to take my opinion seriously enough to "confide" a little: in his opinion, the gig had been a shambles. Damon & Alex had both been drunk as skunks. He, Graham, was postively disgusted with the pair of them. Damon in particular had been behaving like an "absolute fuckwit and a bollocker". (Bollocker, yes.)
Unfortunately at that point in the conversation, I tried to act cool by smiling mysteriously and walking off. Graham instead spent about an hour supposedly "freaking out" this uptight, arrogant wanker I know named Graham Hill.
So, Graham Fan No. 2, from this "evidence", I'd say Graham sometimes hates both Alex & Damon, but Damon more than Alex.
EXPERIENCE CREATES THE BEST EVIDENCE!!1

You are the most cretinous, moronic, despicable, fetid, scungy, dimwitted, idiotic, pathetic, contemptible, ridiculed, spackwitted, jumped-up, foolish, syphillitic fuckwit I have ever met or seen. You smell, you suck, go die in a hole.
By Butter~Twirrélist on Saturday, January 12, 2002 - 12:35 am: |
Oh, I will if you dig the hole for me first, Damon! Be sure to crap on my head before you bury me, too!
Gah! Literal but not lateral, as they say ...
