I must confess, however, that I'm probably one of the few people in the world who did find it deathly boring. I was sitting near the front in the left hand corner, and was turning around to watch all the fascinated people in the sold-out cinema watching the film with wide eyes. I, though, was bored out of my brain. I kept asking Steffi, the girl next to me, how long there was to go. "Two hours," she'd say..."An hour and a half"..."An hour"..."Half an hour"..."Ten fucking minutes!" We'd groan, again and again. And then people would tell us to shut up. well occifer, you aint the omly ones, i actually fell asleep, i waited and waited for a scene with orcs in, and fel asleep just before they appeared, and as an avid LOTR fan, (ive read it a couple of times and have just started again, and the hobbit, and silmarilion as well as some of the lost tales etc etc, ive been reading it since i was about 10) anywayz, i was very bored, very dissapointed, and well, all i have to say is HARRY POTTER the film was way better!! i saw that teice, (though i was sorta forced :p), and i would not pay to watch that LOTR again, well maybe its cos i love the book so much and they missed most of it out, as well as changing the bits they kept, but it was very boring. - Occifer, if you wanted the film to fly by, you should have slept, it helped a lot
