YEAH!! I put up recently I was looking for accomadation over the summer, within a few postings it was talking about frizzy hair and kidney beans ... Why?

It's like a real conversation. Last time I was in the pub a conversation that started about music went through music, barbecues, fisting, flowers, walking sticks, golden showers and sheperds pie, in that order. Natural progression, don't fight it.

Because everyone who posts in here has one of two problems, maybe both.
1) A.D.D. - They would like to stay on topic, but then the saw something shiny and they went totally off track.
or
2) Their hormones are way way out of control. - They'd like to stay on topic, but they can't seem to get past their sex drive long enough to stay on track.
That is my theory anyhow.

I think it may be a combination of the two.

Actually, I second what R~S~P wrote. Also, in this context, it's almost like a game of Chinese Whispers. Ie, someone vaguely mentions a band in an otherwise unrelated posting; the next posting begins, "Oh, Christ, [Menswear/Radiohead/Northern Uproar ~ what ever band was mentioned] suck so much!" Followed by another posting declaring, "They do not suck!" followed by one of those feel~good posts declaring, "Can't we all just get along?" followed by lotsa warm fuzzy posts agreeing with this sentiment, before Micky butts in to declare, "What bollox. Back to footy..." and so on and so on and so on. Like the universe itself, Coping topics evolve! Though not necessarily for the better.

Well 'The only two bands that matter are oasis and blur.' topic did stick to itself, although their was a little interruption, but that cleared itself up. And now it's back to Radiohead!
But anyway, this topic managed to stay in its heading. So far so good.
