I'm listening to them right now, and am very much so into them, so I figured, 'the fuck, lets discuss.
How many of you enjoy them? Which albums are your favourite? Are you a pre or post Richey fan, or all of the above? Why have they never once got any attention in the states? I think its refreshing that they played in Cuba early last month(no, I'm not a comunist, nor do I think its a valid form of governing, but it was cool that they did it anyway, to see fidel bob his head was great!) What are some of your favourite songs? Discuss, discuss, discuss!

I'm a Pre and Post Richey fan, but I'm boycotting those bastards until they release the new album in the states.

I still havent watched the "Our Manics in Havana" documentary I taped last week, but I'm looking forward to it! And i love Know Your Enemy, esp. Wattsville Blues (sorry, had to taunt you!). The first time I got into them was when i heard "Kevin Carter", but I like all the stuff, umm, favourite song, favourite song? Motorcycle emptiness is pretty good.

I have a friend thats fanatically devoted to the band(he's at the same level I am at with Radiohead, so yeah.) and he goes on about how Generation Terrorists is one of the greatest debuts ever, and I'm sorry but that album is apaulingly terrible! Cockrock woo hoo! Wa-wa guitars! Its horrendous, and then four tracks in Motorcycle Emtiness comes on and I'm happy, then the rest of it, and I just cant understand why that song is on that album, or how it came from the same band at all.
My favourite album has to be The Holy Bible, its really when of the better albums to come out of the decade just come to pass. Sadly its recieved so little attention.. My own favourite song..I like Masses Against the Classes along with its acompniant B-side Close My Eyes quite a bit. Motown Junk is great too.
