Since I've installed it I can't play my music files on the napster player, and even listen to the song while it's being downloaded as it was supposed to be.....

And tonight I downloaded a song and when the file was complete, where was it???

A guy told me to reinstall it, but I'd lose my old files, wouldn't I???

Please ppl!! If anyone can help..... L

hello my dearest. NO don't reinstall, this happens to everyone who has the new napster. FACT: IT IS CRAP. mine and everone elses sometimes refuses to use the napster player, it is their stupidity. also, if you locate your music files (which should be in c:\napster\music or wherever it is, just put them somewhere safe (i always like to choose the witches palace in oz) and then reinstall and put the files back where they belong..ahh, nice. but as i said you don't need to reinstall my lovely.

I have a question, though... How do I put my files back on napster if I reinstall it?

go to the directory in which the napster music files are stored (c:\Programme Files\Napster\My Music)and paste the backup copy you should have made

Just guessing... I still have my musics in my computer, and I decided to go back to the old and efficient version of napster, and reinstall it since the new one wasn't working at all. My new napster music files is empty, of course... Is that any way of coping those mp3 files back to my napster list???

if you go to preferences in napster...look to see the box that is ticked for sharing with others...if its the name of the folder that has all your music then all well and good, if not...TICK IT!
