Oh yeah. I got drunk on wine. And I didnt even drink a whole bottle.. Shit.. I AM weak!
By stereopop on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 03:17 pm: |
Well, I can beat that all.
1. I didn't drink (I had to drive.)
2. Brandon's parents wouldn't let him come with me.
3. So I call up my friend, Rachel, and we go over to my friend Tristan;s house.
4. David gets so drunk that he's laying over me telling me about how he loves me and all this shit.
5. Tristan gets so drunk he can't walk.
6. David throws up on me.
7. Tristan's mom cleans me up.
8. Midnight! No one to kiss or even hug.
9. Rachel and I leave at 12.05.
10. We drive for 30 minutes so I can go give Brandon a New Year's kiss, and he's gone over to Brian's house.
Then I drove Rachel home and went home myself. And that's not mentioning that David drank like 2 bottles of red wine, so it stained. And the 23-year-old hitting on Rachel and I. And all the drunk drivers that almost hit me.
Is it ok for me to be disappointed?
By caz on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 03:22 pm: |
Yeah I think so Amanda...
By R~S~P on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 03:25 pm: |
Come on Caz, Britney Spears is one of the best singers ever!
Amanda, didn't I tell you that new year sucks? People should listen to me...
By stereopop on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 03:49 pm: |
Yeah, I know it sucks Chris, but sometimes I forget that almost every year my shit year is ended with a shit night. And since the plan at the beginning was to be with people I want to be with, I thought maybe this one night would be different. And if Brandon had been home, I probably would have written a big long schpeil on how great last night was. Or maybe if David hadn't puked all over me. One of two would have been nice.
By caz on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 03:57 pm: |
Chris> Bah! I hate her!
By girl from Ipanema on Monday, January 1, 2001 - 09:56 pm: |
The thing about new year is, everybody expects too much of it, they think this has to be the most funny and wonderful night ever, just because it is new year's eve....
Hey Chris, the day has just passed, see?? And we all survived! ;)
By stereopop on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 - 12:30 am: |
Well I expected it to be a little better than red wine stains and below freezing after midnight visits to no one. Oh well. There's always next year.
Holding on for tomorrow ...
By girl from Ipanema on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 - 04:53 am: |
I'm sorry for what happened stereopop, that was not a comment on what u said. We all expect something good on new year, it's inevitable... Maybe if all of us worried less about making this night one of the best of the year, it wouldn't be so disappointing for most of us, that's all...
And don't think about next year, it's still very far (thank God! lol)
Better days for all of us...
By Eddy on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 - 12:03 pm: |

No doubt they are taking their pants off and getting ready for you right now Caz.
By Luk'e on Sunday, January 7, 2001 - 11:03 am: |
My new years eve was great. I fell asleep at about 4pm and woke up when some fireworks went off at just after midnight. I switched on the tv and watched about 20 minutes of Jules Holland and fell back to sleep again.
After working nights for a week and sleeping from 9 to 5 every day and up and about at 5am, the one night I want to stay awake and can I?
I don't mind though, I know already that going out in scarbugger would have been many times more disappointing.
And my new years revolution, even though that is covered in another topic, is to visit the Millenium Dome.
By Arresting Occifer on Sunday, January 7, 2001 - 01:08 pm: |
Now that's hardly revolutionary, Lukas.
