Yeah, come back Kenzilicious! Let the past go and join me in being an active part of this ever thriving web community: Coping, 2002!
By Master Sleuth on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 - 10:48 pm: |
I sure hope he comes back! ...purrr....*drool*....ffffffft.....slaver, ooooooh Paige! do come back! Ive been waiting for you all this time. We could be so good together.
By Quintal on Saturday, June 22, 2002 - 07:30 pm: |
I'm disappointed with the response thus far, I must admit.
By Sarki on Saturday, June 22, 2002 - 10:39 pm: |
What? You managed to bring the legendary pervert Master Sleuth back to Coping and you're dissapointed?
I have to say I don't miss Kenzie in the slightest. She was too big headed for my liking.
Anyroad Quintal, your topic now has a "sarki post"!
All this topic needs now is a full blown arguement between Micky Maybrick and Big Brett, a Dave Hedgehog quote, some Yeah posts from Thomas Williams, Angie flirting with everyone, a long drivelling post from someone telling some irrellivent story about why their life is shit and me insulting everyone and this topic will be up there with the best! haha.
I somehow doubt it though, this topic looks a certain flop. Kenzie love, if you're reading this. NOBODY LIKES YOU :o)

I'm honestly not being facetious or mean~spirited in saying I wouldn't mind at all if Kenzie came back to Coping. (Not like I own the place, after all.) I don't care very much for some things she did & she pissed me off big time, but that's so long ago now. I wouldn't take her to task over any of it now. "Let those without sin cast the first stone," and all that.

facetious \fuh-SEE-shus, adjective:
1. Given to wit and good humor; merry; sportive; jocular; as, a facetious companion.
2. Characterized by wit and pleasantry; exciting laughter; as, a facetious story or reply.
He was by all odds the liveliest, most genial man in the group--"a most engaging and entertaining companion of a sweet, even and lively temper, full of facetious stories always applied with judgment and introduced apropos."
--Richard M. Ketchum, Saratoga: Turning Point of America's Revolutionary War

Ah, here we go yet AGAIN. Well, well, well, 'Guardian of Good English', if you're a Kenzie partisan, why pick on me? Why not Quintal or EvanScampers? They're the ones being cheeky here.
"The New Collins Thesaurus" suggests that facetious has a rather broad definition indeed. It can also mean amusing, comical, droll, flippant, frivolous, funny, humorous, jesting, mischievous, jocose, jocular, playful, pleasant, tongue in cheek, unserious, nonserious, waggish, witty.
When I said I wasn't being facetious in saying I wouldn't care if Kenzie came back, I meant I wasn't being unserious/nonserious. Nor was I jesting, nor being mischievous, tongue in cheek, nor comical (ie, JOKING). Maybe I should have begun the sentence differently: "I'm honestly not being nonserious nor attempting to be comical or mischievous ..."
Would that have satisfied your exacting standards?
Anyroad, Kenzie's welcome to this place (she can invite Paige and Master Sleuth back too, for that matter). I've been slagged so often about so many things on this place, & there are after all a few eminently more slaggable people around Coping. If you're into slagging.
Fuck you all. (Well, some of you.)
By Quintal on Monday, June 24, 2002 - 11:12 am: |
You can all fuck me. If you want.
And I may have been rather jocular, but I wasnt being totally nonserious. I'd like to see Kenzie back.
By Scamp on Monday, June 24, 2002 - 04:33 pm: |
Well, it sounded completely nonserious to me, Quintal. Hence my *cheeky* Evan post.
Ana you do seem to attract the meanies, but I think it's your entertaining responses that keep the meanies picking on you.

Hmm, I'd love to see Joe & Ian back. In agreeance with what someone posted recently (award topic?), "Monkeys in a Speedboat" offers no end to amusement. What, you go to university, and find this place too crap to come back to? sigh, break my heart...
Quintal, if Kenz DOES see this, what's stopping her from posting? ('cos if she doesn't see it, then what's the good?)
*Have a great day everyone*
