Hi. I'm looking for a version that Blur did of an Offspring song called "Pretty Fly for a White Guy". It sounds something like a Mariachi band.

Surely not???
BTW, does anyone know anything about the Blur/Radiohead collaboration Cowboy Song? I have the mp3 but I'd really like to know the story behind it.
Ha. I love hijacking other people's topics.

hmmm I heard that it was not a collaboration but just a straight Blur song that i *think* (but am not too sure) is found on a soundtrack somewhere (methinks its "dead man on campus' but i could be wrong-o). i mean seriously, if it was a collaboration surely it would've been really hyped, no? I saw that MP3 on Napster but I think someone on Zeal asked the same thing as you Joe.

So can we expect a big-shorted, tattooed 'Sportz metal' Blur for their next album proper?

Cowboy Song isn't a collaboration. The person who named it just made a bung-up.
Even if it was a collaboration, wouldn't they let Thom sing instead?

"pretty fly" was possibly the most annoying song ever (and I adore Americana). Why would Blur cover it? why why why why?

Oh....millions of people are fooled. Cowboy Song is wicked...everything All We Want should have been and wasn't quite.
