After month on month of negotiation, planning, scheming, begging, stealing, asking and bribing, we've finally got the five tracks that will (paradoxially) make you want to rip your ears off with glee. Five tracks - one each from the five bands that together will save British guitar music.

"ROCK WILL EAT ITSELF" will be released on Monday 1st April and distribution will probably be through Cargo Records. You can also order it straight from us by mail order or use the super-whizzy new ONLINE ORDERING thingie we're setting up. We'll be taking pre-orders from some point next week, we'll do another mailout when it's all ready.


DENTAL WEBSITE REVAMP

www.dentalsounds.co.uk has a sleek new look to reflect our new artists and new record. There's now a page for each of the bands on the new EP as well as all the old content you've known and loved - except now we're going to be updating it a hell of a lot more.

Of course, you can still link directly to the message boards, where you can join in the chinwagging with lots of other groovy young things with their pulse on the finger of popular music. Are Antihero, as we've always suspected, going to be the band to spearhead the rock revival? Have you seen a great band recently? Does the plight of the destruction of Badgers' setts to make way for new developments worry you? The only way to get your views across is the message boards at www.dentalsounds.co.uk

But, err yeah. DENT01 featuring MISS BLACK AMERICA and ANTIHERO has now TOTALLY SOLD OUT. In fact, we have 9 copies left here in the office, so if you want one, send off a cheque for £3 payable to R.Dix now! If you send a cheque and it's sold out, we'll let you know and either rip up the cheque or send it back to you, so don't worry.

It's also available from loads of mail order places and indie shops all over the country, so you might just be lucky - but whatever you do, don't pay more than £3 for it anywhere.

ANTIHERO DO LOADS OF STUFF

Biggest news of the last month is that Antihero have signed to Integrity Records for a one-single deal through whom they will be releasing the single Rolling Stones T-Shirt in May. Don't panic! This does not mean that they're abandoning the Good Ship Dental altogether, it's just a great chance to get more material out there and could well be a stepping-stone up to the complete world domination that will surely follow. They have also recorded a session for John Peel which will be broadcast at some point in April.
