I thought the Mimr video (and indeed the song) seemed very U2-y, you know, sort of like "we're a big band and are going to be difficult cos we don't care" it's hard to explain. I must say I am finally getting used to the song, butI still don't think it's a patch on black book.
It probably is their worst video ever, but blur videos are of a particularly good standard.

neway, the vid:
he band is being interviewed in a big round seat that is sunk into the ground (tres 70s) on a big red stage. Odd presenter bloke looks into camera and introduces a commercial break. Band relax. Mad dancers dressed in Quant/mod type gear (black and white, stripes, little tiny dresses and jackets and big motorbike helmets, seemingly made of thick black tape) run out and perform one of the worst dances you have ever seen, to MIMR. At one point, they all rip off their clothes and throw them in the pit. They carry on dancing wearing only very badly fitting body stockings and lines of tape. Music ends, dancers freeze, and we cut back to the presenter.
