I'm not always negative. I just don't like Hewlitt or whatever. I find his blind belief in the Gorillaz concept highly tedious. That TV special where Jamie and Damon were insisting that the characters were real and that they had been beaten up by the Gorillaz (see also that NME cover) was unbelievably poor.

As if Albarn's cred hadn't already taken a massive dunt with the release of Music is my Radar.

Well, I admit, that was quite negative.

His friendship band was alright, tho.

I havent seen Starshaped, unfortunately. I did buy Showtime from a second hand shop for $2 (75p UK/$1 US)a few months ago though. I still havent watched it, though my flatmates have. They said it was really boring and "that style of music puts you to sleep..." They love Music Is My Radar though. So do I! I saw the clip on RAGE last night, actually. Such a great video...

so funny, I thought that Jamie didn't look younger at all in star shaped but Damon and Alex looked really really younger and skinnier. =D
Jamie's face was exactly the same as now but Damon's eyebrows' got lighter & less now.. and his hair too..T.T

I think Showtime is quite poor, compared to Starshaped anyways.

I think it's just because Starshaped is from a better point in their career (in my opinion) and it's much more interesting to watch 'cause there's more chat and footage of the band doing things other than playing.

Damon being hit with the egg in the video version of Showtime is funny, tho. Sadly omitted from the TV edit.
