Hello is Liza again from america. Well from Washington, DC. I know I haven't been on this posting site in years. Back then I had a huge crush on blur. Since then it has cooled to friends w/ benefits. Anyway I'd like to hear the britsh perspective about everything that's going on......
There are a couple of jokes that my friends and I are using on each other.
1.There is a lot of concern about this anthrax going around in mail, water, and food so everyone is being very cautious. One day during my lunch break I took a walk in the park (across the street) And I saw a squirrel. He was taking precautions, he was spraying his nuts with Lysol.
2.And is you get sick, oh it's nothing just a case of the common anthrax. You know the drill.

How about an american perspective? Our law-makers suck. They'll protect themselves from Anthrax. None of them have died. The only peeps that have are postal workers. They're not protecting the peeps they need to protect. Spend some money to keep peeps safe. They can take the 50 million they say they'd need to do it out of NASA's funding, which, is enormous. If it was for anything else, they'd find the money no problem. Bastards. Futhermore, postal worker's HMOs should be required to test postal workers who come into clinics with smyptoms. Lets protect our postal workers cos A) They deserve it and B) We seriously don't need to give these people anything else to be pissed off about.

While I'm ranting and raving.. Bayer's patent for the antibiotic used to treat Antrhax should be lifted, or they should be discounting the price of the meds instead of rasing it. Bastards! (I'm liking that word this evening) Next time I've got a headache, I'm taking aleve!

Well today's revelations are that another building has anthrax spores! That makes 13 Buildings in my area! I have to say everyone I know is afraid. I heard the explosions at the pentagon sept. 11. I was actually on the phone with my sister's boyfriend who is a marine stationed at 8&I street SE DC. The houses shook in Alexandria (where I was at the time). It's pretty creepy about halloween coming. I know that because of recent threats, none of the shopping malls will be open Halloween.
Also I do agree with the above statement. The vaccine for Anthrax is only given out to military personnel. I know my sister's boyfiend was annoculated~a long time ago, before sept.11th. I leave for the Coast Guard in January so I'll get mine soon enough.

Ok anyway I'm bacckkk. My computer crashed, and it took them 2 weeks to fix it. It had brain damage.But now the message center has a new part so I think it will be ok.
Can you guys believe, that plane crashed into the bronx! Those poor people, my heart goes out to all the people affected, I heard 12 houses got hit.
