I was on holiday! and the damn video doesn't work! Grrrrr.. instead of a mildly interesting program on Mars (with a couple of members from a once-favourite band) I got some fucking sport thing. Damn 24 hour clock.

I saw that show years ago, when it first came out in Australia. Yeah, there was a girl who had a pretty damn groovy email relationship with Damon Albarn (the real one).
By wakey on Monday, July 30, 2001 - 10:55 pm: |
yeah thats the 1. she said damon sent her hand written letters and books, not e mails, but he might have sent those aswell.
i think its strange how certain people can have a letter writting relationship with people like damon and other fans cant. do u think its just persistence, like thew wont stop sending letters to him, so he eventually sends a few back ? i mean i wouldnt even know how to get an address 2 send damon or graham a letter.

No I dont think persistance will get you a letter writing relationship with a famous person. Persistance will get you an restraining order, I'm afraid.

Now, that's what I call damned good, common sense.

Hey, I tell it like it is and make no bones about it whatsoever. I know what I want and I go after it. Sorry if I hurt anyones feeling with my hard hitting truth, but that's just the way it is and you should get used to it cuz it's a big, bad world out there that will eat you up and spit you out like chewing tabacco if your not a hard nut in an even harder shell like me.

They had some kind of massive spliff-parade on that pommies program, i was wondering, does that happen a lot in australia?, cos they were all carrying a giant spliff through the streets and it looked kind of good, but i have never seen anything like that happen before and i was just wondering if you can get some kind of giant rizla paper in australia otherwise it would be a fuckin hassle rolling a big spliff and how much weed would you need, and imagine if you made it out of pure skunk and who gets to take it home after the parade and do they put it in their garden and smoke some evryday but if it rains it would be soggy and maybe birds would eat it so if you had a big shed for the spliff to go in maybe you could put loads of mouthpieces on the end and let people pay some money to go in and toke for half an hour or maybe the australian government gives it to the aboriginies but probably not but maybe the rastas get it instead but if they had it they'd want some nedd weed, not skunk cos rastas dont smoke skunk so much cos they smoke all the time and wouldn't wantto be too monged cos then they couldn't listen to bob mareyand you know them big rasta hats that are red green and yellow they are a funny shape, is that cos rastas have funny shape heads, or do the keep cakes in theire hats, for when they get the munchies.
Fuck me, there's some wierd shit in my head, isn't there

Congratulations, you win the Gold Longest Sentence on Coping award.
On a more serious note, Geoff Capes was actually a good friend of our family's before he died and I resent you using his name for comedy reasons.

Personally speaking my band MEAT AXXXE are writing a song right now called 'Top Lad (The World Is Gunna Miss Ya)' for Micky and we are gonna put it as the second secret track on our next album after the kickarse live version we did of Nookie yeah. It's a beautiful song and I think it shows just how fast MEAT AXXXE are progressing as songwriters. The record company wants to remix it and get it out there as a single in time for Christmas yeah. I dont mean to brag, but that's just the way it is. Also for all you fans of MEAT AXXXE out there we will be whacking it on a bonus cassette tape with some rarities for all you diehard fans to pick up at our gigs ; ) Track listing:
1. THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR KICKIN' (live version)
2. THAT'S MY BIRD'S ARSE YA GOT YA HAND ON (live version)
3. TOP LAD (THE WORLD IS GUNNA MISS YA) (demo)
4. ROLLIN' (live cover version)
5. UNI SLAGZ (previously unreleased)
6. WORKERS WAGE (album version)
7. BIG BILL IS GUNNA SORT YOU OUT (4 track demo version}
