Anyone read Graham saying in the NME (spit) that he "isn't surprised" that the Gorillaz records are popular because they are "substandard of Blur" ? Is this supreme arrogance or a bit of the old sour grapage from La Geek Faux ?
He says the more popular something is the more shit it is in this country (the UK).
Sounds like the words of a man who knows his next album is going to be jobbies and won't sell jack shit, dunnit ?
What do you all think on that, then ?

Yeah, Graham has always struck me as one of those typically passive~aggressive Pisces types, despite all his charm.

I just read that NME interview. I'd never before noticed the similarities between Graham Coxon and Travis Bickle.

That's the one, Skrooie. I wonder if he's bought the arsenal of weaponry yet ?

Passive agressive Pisces types? mm.. pehaps. But you know, to an extent, I agree with what he says. Well, I dunno about the "substandard of blur" part, but what he says about stuff being more popular if its crap. I think that goes for everywhere, espcially the U.S. Take a look at the billboard charts. I dunno how to discribe it! Its just just... dismal. (For the lack of a thesaurus) There really needs to be some sort of Noah's Ark semi-apolcolyaptic cleansing happening in the music industry.
He does sound a bit bitter though doesn't he? Oh well. Everyone's entitled to their bitterness sometimes....

Popular tends to be crap. Popular because the rest of the population is tasteless and stupid. But I'm ok with it because it means that I'm better than the majority of Americans. heh. (kidding, sort of, well, not really to be honest.)
I wonder if you become passive agressive because you're a pisces, or you're a pisces because you're passive agressive. Being a pisces myself, I have no idea. *shrugs*

I think it could be a case of the chicken and the egg, Paige. Don't dwell on it or you'll give yourself a nasty headache. And there is no need to be "kidding" about your first three sentences. It sounds harsh and egotistical, but I'm sure it's true anyway. Stand up. Be proud.
