It's been awhile since there has been anything actually blur related here, which is more blur's fault than any copers, so here is this:

Q magazine and their Q4life.com did a feature on Worst Album Covers, and they invited readers to send in their selections. Guess which blur album cover they chose?

I had never actually thought about how crap the cover is, but I suppose that it is really shit. That photo inside of them all though - oh that cracks me up! Which opinion is yours? Teenage Fanclub? (please don't be terribly insulted if thats wrong, it was just a random guess!)

In my humble opinion The great escape cover had quite a good concept - you know the whole shark thing, "everything ain't as rosy as it seems", etc. Not as bad as its made out.

Well I think it should be disqualified, on accounts that the reader was kinda wrong. The cover has a relevance to the title. More of a sarcastic humour, which is what a lot of the music is about on the album, in my humble opinion.

I don't actually like any of Blur's covers. i think the best of is actually the best cover. this might be due to the fact that i first got the first three albums by taping them off friends, so the covers dont really link to the albums for me. TGE was the first one i actually bought and looked at, and being about 12 at the time, I only had it on tape. tape = shit little cover, no lyrics. Annoying!
