ok then, steven street has said loads of times that he recons graham is a better guitarist than johnny marr. do u think he is ? my own view is that yes he is slightly better than marr, i was wondering what u guy's view on this matter is.

Top 10 lists are always biased anyway. Just because someone named 10 guitarists that they think are the best.. Total Guitar magazine in '98 I think named Jon Squire as the best, Graham Coxon number 2, and Gallagher and Marr both got into the top 10 too. It's only an opinion.
What method would you use to rate the best? Ability or creativity? The top 10 would be filled with people you'd probably never heard of. Popularity? The list changes each year. It's also discrimiative against the less known artists, maybe from other countries.

I haven't heard much of Johnny Marr, so I couldn't comment on who I think is best. I know Graham Coxon is very good though, one the most talented I've seen in the genre. And it's also a fact that he is better than Noel Gallagher, in all positive aspects of guitar playing.
