I used to love coming to Coping and reading what all the cool, smart, cool people had to say for themselves, but now I just cant be arsed. There are two people in particular who I can single out as wrecking this place (it doesnt take a genius to figuire things out), but I wont do that because, unlike some people in this place, I have standards and I stick by them through thick and thin. It's a shame, but I have to say BYE BYE COPING forever. I cant believe you could sell people's dreams down the river like that. For some of us Coping meant a lot. It's not just a big joke, you know.Not everything is one big joke. While I share your disappointment for the state that coping is in, merely bitching about it isn't going to solve the problem. There are still plenty of intelligent, imaginitive people here to work with. There is no reason why coping can't be "a place to share our thoughts and compare and comment on things" again. In order to attract the kind of people back to coping who everyone would like to see more of, someone has to get the ball rolling and start an intelligent conversation.
